A 2-week qualifier round began Monday May 10th and ended Sunday May 23rd. Each of the 34 designers who signed up were partnered and asked to complete a qualifier match within the specified dates.
Following the qualifying round, 16 designers were be chosen by a panel of anonymous judges to compete in the PHXLAYERS Tournament. In the qualifier round, the designers were not directly competing, and it is possible that both may continue into the tournament.
